Stocking Up? Save Those Chums This Long Weekend With These Shopping Tips

Sooo it’s going to be another long weekend!

This couldn’t come at a better time guys. Watu wa Coast na Naks mko wapi? Aiyam talking to ya’ll! Ama niache kushout? 🤣🤣🤣 Aren’t you glad kumefunguliwa! Long weekend itawapata wapi?

Now, unfortunately admin will be stuck in Nai in this dull weather. So wenye wa kukula enjoyment out of town, enjoy responsibly for the both of us. This weekend nimeamua It’s all about me. Self care manenos - simu on airplane mode (okay, not really), order some take out over the weekend na kuwatch ball. Proper relaxation I’m telling you. Jipendeni nani…

Now, I’m also planning on taking advantage of the sales that will be taking place this weekend coz of the holiday. Nilihata ile ya Easter coz I slekid a bit but I’m not making that mistake again. Pesa iko kwa mfuko and trust you me I will be one of the first people to hit the supermarket ready to splurge on some much needed household stuff and electronics. Nime decide hiyo hustle ya kuosha nguo na hazikauki chap chap is not my portion anymore (kwanza nah ii weather) and I want to spoil myself with a proper washing machine. Heh hamtapumua 😏😏😏

Your good man is here to share his wisdom acquired over experience on how to shop for sales while still saving your hard-earned cash.

  1. Stick to the budget

Always. You might think that just coz things are way cheaper you can go all out then urudi home na doh zilishaisha na mid month ndio hiyo. Always know what you want, rather need to buy first, get those out of the way and if there’s some left over cash, then you can splurge kidogo on that shiny item that will just give you happiness.

  1. Shop on the first day

No, if this ain’t speaking to meeee! It’s always best to go on the first day of the sale ndio uget the best picks. The earlier the better too. Heh, I’ve seen peeps literally fighting kwa supa coz they both want the same item na hiyo ndio ya last ilibaki. These streets aki…

  1. Tafuta makosa

Is that sale too good to be true? Well, there might be catch. Maybe the item is faulty ama that good-looking pair of jeans has a shimo. Whatever the case, always scrutinize what you’re buying to make sure it’s quality over quantity.

  1. Be keen on return policies

The excitos we have when we see that slashed price can sometimes blind us and we end up purchasing something. So if need be, always look at the return/exchange policy and how long it goes for before copping that item.

On that note let me get to making a shopping list coz aki if I don’t… Happy shopping guys and I’m wishing you a prosperous Eid al-Fitr! Keep safe 😊

Over & Out,

The Witty Banker.
