  KCB Bank has partnered with Airtel Money to allow KCB bank customers registered on our mobile banking service to send money from their KCB bank accounts directly to any Airtel Money wallet for free. The partnership also allows Airtel Money customers to send money from their wallets to any KCB account for free.

• What is KCB mobile banking?

  This is a robust and innovative mobile banking platform that enables KCB customers to access banking services using their phones by dialing *522# or the KCB App. Customers can pay utilities, get loans, buy airtime, send and/or receive money, and access other banking services conveniently.

• How do I send money from my KCB account to Airtel Money Wallet?

  You can send money to any Airtel Money wallet using the KCB App or by dialing *522# on any mobile network. Below are the steps.

  Using the KCB App

  • Open your KCB Bank App.
  • Select Send to Mobile.
  • Choose Airtel.
  • Choose either Self or Other.
  • Enter the receiving Airtel phone number and the Amount to send.
  • Select Submit.
  • Confirm details and click Proceed.
  • Enter your KCB mobile banking PIN to complete the transaction.

  Using USSD *522#

  • Dial *522#.
  • Select Send Money.
  • Select Send to Airtel.
  • Select the KCB Account to send money from.
  • Enter the Airtel phone Number you want to send money to.
  • Enter the Amount.
  • Enter your KCB mobile banking PIN to complete the transaction.

  Airtel Money is a mobile phone-based money transfer service that allows customers to send and receive money both locally and internationally, make payments, buy airtime for self and for others, get loans and savings services.

• How do I send money from my Airtel Money Wallet to any KCB Bank account?

  You can send money to any KCB Bank account from your Airtel Money wallet using the Airtel Money App or by dialing *334# on your Airtel line. Below are the steps.

  Using the Airtel Money USSD.

  • Dial *334# on your Airtel Line.
  • Select Lipa Na Paybill.
  • Select Airtel Money Paybill.
  • Select Send money to bank then choose KCB.
  • Enter the KCB Account Number you are transferring money to and the Amount.
  • Enter your Airtel Money PIN and confirm.

  Using the Airtel App.

  • Open your Airtel Money App.
  • Go to Airtel Money.
  • Select Paybill.
  • Select Banking.
  • Select KCB Bank and enter the Account Number that you are sending money to.
  • Enter your Airtel Money PIN and confirm.

• What is the maximum amount that I can send from my Airtel Money Wallet to any KCB account and vice versa?

  You can send a maximum of KES.150,000 per transaction and KES. 300,000 limit per day from Airtel Money to KCB. You can receive KES. 150,000 per transaction and KES. 300,000 limit per day from KCB Account to your Airtel Money wallet.

  Your Airtel Money wallet can hold a maximum of KES. 300,000

• How much will I be charged to transfer money from my KCB Bank account any Airtel money wallet or vice versa?

  It is FREE to transfer money from your KCB Bank account to any Airtel Money wallet and vice versa.
