Champion Karen Patel Eying Kcb Machakos Rally

In form Karan Patel is already looking forward for the KCB Machakos Rally to be held on the August 28, 2021 in Machakos County. Karan finally secured his maiden Kenya National Rally Championship career win at the KCB Voi Rally on Saturday. The former 85cc East African Motocross Champion had his campaign effectively sewn up with four out of 8 stage wins which featured in the grueling 445.97km Sikh Union organized round.

Patel, who made his KNRC debut in 2014, said he is now concentrating on the Machakos Rally in a bid to defend his title.

“I am delighted for the win. It was a stiff competition but now I am focused on the Machakos Rally later this month and we will start the preparations right away to make sure that I defend my title.” Said Karan.

The KCB Machakos Rally will be the fifth rally competition this year after the KCB Nakuru Rally, The Equator Rally, the WRC Safari Rally and just concluded KCB Voi Rally.
