KCB Asset Management reaffirmed its commitment to community empowerment by contributing KSh 250,000 as a platinum sponsor for the Shree Sthanakvasi Jain Sangh charity golf tournament. The event took place on Sunday, 6th April at the Sigona Golf Club, drawing together participants from across the region in support of a noble cause. The tournament aimed to raise funds for two impactful initiatives: the Dr. Ribeiro Primary School Cerebral Palsy Students Fundraiser and the Gau Seva Trust Initiative, both of which play a vital role in uplifting underprivileged communities.
Speaking during the event, Victor Odendo, Managing Director of KCB Asset Management, emphasized the bank's dedication to making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable groups. "At KCB, we believe in walking the talk when it comes to transforming lives. Supporting inclusive education and community welfare is central to our values," he said. "We are honored to be part of a cause that directly impacts children with cerebral palsy and provides critical support to the Kibwezi community through the Gau Seva Trust."
The funds raised during the tournament will go a long way in improving access to education and basic services for the beneficiaries. Beyond the monetary support, the event served as a powerful platform to raise awareness and rally collective action around social impact. “Partnerships like these are the heartbeat of change,” added Odendo. “We are proud to stand alongside organizations that are passionate about leaving no one behind.”
