KCB Dominates Kisumu Open Tournament

KCB Benjamin Magana emerged as the overall winner in the open category, and his counterpart Gloria Jumba won the ladies category in the concluded Kisumu Open Chess tournament. 

Magana scored 5.5 points, and he was closely followed by his teammate Joseph Methu who also managed. KCB Chess was named the best team in the tournament, with the winners awarded trophies and cash prizes. 

Speaking after the win, Magana said: “I am delighted with this team for the win in a very competitive tournament with quality players. We want to finish the league on a high.”
