KCB Fc Get Covid Test Ahead Of Return Of The Bet king Premier League Matches

KCB FC has been one of the affected football club in the country by the Covid-19 pandemic with the suspension of sporting activities twice hitting the camp hard.

With the resumption of sporting activities and Betking Premier league matches looking certain, FKF ordered full round of mandatory testing across all the clubs in the competition.

Today, the KCB FC playing and non-playing staff have undergone another Covid-19 test a month after getting the Covid-19 vaccine in line with the Football Kenya Federation recommendations.

The Betking Premier league matches are expected to resume this week after a one-month break. KCB is lined up to play with bitter rivals Tusker FC this weekend in a bid to close the gap on the league leaders.

Speaking after the team underwent the Covid-19 tests, the gaffer, Zedekiah Ziko Otieno was optimistic that the results will turn out to be negative and that the team will now concentrate in their title bid.

“It is my prayer that we have encouraging results from today’s tests so that we can now shift our focus into the game that we all missed.” Ziko Said.

“I have faith in the lads, that they will recover from the lost time very fast and with the programmes that we had in the break, get back to full fitness as fast as possible.” Added Ziko.

KCB will still be missing the services of their talisman Enock Agwanda with Coach Ziko unsure if we will see him in action this season.
