KCB have stepped up their preparations for weekend's clash with Kenya Prisons, Kenya Pipeline and DCI with the teams angling for major honours during this years National Volleyball play offs co sponsored by KCB bank Kenya.
The squad has been in residential camp for the last one week at Sports view hotel Kasarani with daily trainings at Nyayo Gymnasium and KCB Sports club.
The bankers will rely heavily on Malkia stars attackers Noel Murambi, Violet Makuto ,Leonida Kasaya and Rwanda's top striker Ernestine Akimanizanye .
The team has also been boosted by inclusion of youngster Belinda Barasa from KCB Academy in the starting squad.
The tournament will serve off on Friday 22nd November 2019 with KCB facing off with Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) at noon followed by Saturday clash with Kenya Prisons at 4pm .KCB will face Kenya Pipeline in their final match on Sunday afternoon ahead of the closing ceremony.
The top two teams in the men and ladies category will represent the country in next year's African Club Championship slated to take place at the Al Ahyl stadium in Cairo Egypt.
Coach Munala has won 4 previous national titles and will he envisaging to grab his major victory with KCB having led the squad to second position finish last year.
KCB are currently leading the KVF log with 18 points ahead of Kenya Prisons .
KCB Bank kenya are the title sponsors of the tournament after injecting kshs 1milion towards the staging of the 3 day competition.
