KCB RFC Eyes Prinsloo 7s Glory

KCB RFC shifts focus to the Prinsloo Sevens Rugby Tournament slated for July 9th – 10th, 2022 in Nakuru County. The Bankers emerged third in the 4th leg of the National Sevens circuit in Kisumu last weekend, dethroning Mwamba 10-7 in a mouth-watering third playoff match.

Assistant Coach Mariko Mushilla admitted a few mistakes in the semi-final clash against Menengai Oilers cost the team a final slot.

"We played well in this tournament. We were the most organized team in the competition and our composure enabled us to beat opponents even in adverse situations. This is rugby, as in any other sport, mistakes cost you. We lacked concentration in the semis and bowed out in the process."
