KCB RFC Shifts Focus To Enterprise Cup Sevens

KCB Rugby FC head coach Curtis Olago says the team is shifting focus to the upcoming Enterprise tournament, the first match being against Strathmore Leos set for 19th March 2022. Olago says the squad is strong and ready for the upcoming tournaments including the sevens circuit which will begin in May.

"We are a very dynamic side; we had set our targets at the beginning of the season and we're sticking to the plan. KCB is a winning team. We are fully committed to the playoff match tomorrow which is like a final to us" he said.

After a five-year dominance in the Kenya cup, KCB RFC finished second runners-up this season.

The bankers outclassed Strathmore Leos in a playoff match over the weekend winning 52-22.

Back Rower Andrew Amonde says the team will bounce back from the untimely exit and come season 2022/23 they will stamp their authority as a formidable side in the local Kenyan rugby scene.
