Eight times Kenya Cup champions KCB RFC will face Menengai Oilers, Quins, Impala, Mwamba, and Homeboyz in pool A of the Kenya Cup 2021-2022 season.
In a league calendar released by the Kenya Rugby Union, the semifinals of the new Kenya Cup season are slated for March 12 with the final on March 19, 2021.
The Enterprise Cup will also be played after a two-year hiatus, with the knock-out tournament starting on February 12 with the quarterfinals slated for March 5, the semifinals on March 26 and the final on April 2.
The union is engaging the Ministry of Sports to see if the Championship and Nationwide leagues can resume and be played alongside the Kenya Cup.
The KCB RFC squad will start their preparations for the new season early with several players still out on break after having one of the most demanding seasons where the boys were tested by Kabras Sugar RFC side.
