KCB RFC once again displayed their prowess and experience in the game after humiliating MMUST 41-10.
Jacob OJ introduced himself in the match with a try after 20 minutes of play. Skipper Darwin Mukidza would convert to earn the bankers 7points. Less than 2 minutes later, Bob Muhati opened his account with another try to give the bankers a 14-0 lead.
MMUST were resilient, kept going forward but the half-time scores stood at 24-0.
In the second half, it took Muhati less than 2 minutes to excellently escape the defense and score his second try of the match.
Speaking after the game, head coach Curtis Olago praised his side for a strong performance. “Winning again today against a well-structured and energetic side was sweet. The boys showed their character, composure and passion for this game. They deserved the win and I am happy. We are looking forward to the next match.” He said.
Kenya Cup 2021/2022 season continues on 29th January. The bankers will face Kenya Harlequins.
