Reigning champions KCB Volleyball Ladies will kick off their Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) playoffs campaign this weekend, taking on KDF Volleyball Ladies in the quarterfinals. The two-leg matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday at the Kasarani Indoor Arena.
The Lionesses finished second in the regular season standings with 26 points, just one point behind leaders Kenya Prisons and one ahead of Kenya Pipeline. They won six of their eight matches, losing only to Kenya Pipeline and Kenya Prisons. The team also received two walkovers after Vihiga Bullets and Maranatha failed to show up.
“We are entering a crucial phase. The playoffs are a make-or-break, and we must win both legs of the quarterfinals and semi-finals. Our objective is clear, to win the title for a third consecutive year,” said Head Coach Japheth Munala.
